Yemoja Of the African Sea

Here, I am channeling Yemoja. Normally she is associated with the colors blue & white in African depictions, but I switched it up with a little “Ursula” vibes. Yemoja is a major water deity from the Yoruba religion. She is a leader of the other river deities. She is also often depicted as a mermaid, and associated with the moon, and feminine mysteries. She is the protector of women and governs everything pertaining women (childbirth, conception, parenting, child safety, love, and healing). She oversees deep secrets, ancient wisdom, sea shells, and the collective unconscious.
